MIDO “Learn Right Paint Right” Initiative
MIDO has always been adamant about manufacturing the highest quality of paints and coating products in a sustainable manner for the benefit of a greener, healthier world. The latest CSR initiative by MIDO was launched with the collaboration of Lead (NGO) and called “Learn Right Paint Right”, a project that aims to provide professional training to technicians that handle car refinishing and wood coating in order to leverage their skillsets and elevate their contribution to the development and improvement of society.
As part of Phase 1 of the MIDO 2021-2025 strategy, the Mido Management Team (MMT) created an ambitious initiative called “Gallop 1000 Days” with the objective of being ranked in the Top 70 Global Paint Companies.
In line with the company’s acknowledgment of the importance of community participation and solidarity in improving Egyptian society through sustainable development, MIDO’s very own Head of Marketing & Sales Mr. Hani El Balouni signed an agreement with the President of the Egyptian Leadership Foundation for Development Dr. May El Talawy to launch the initiative “Learn Right Paint Right”, a project that aims to train and leverage the skillsets of technicians that handle car refinishing and wood coating. This project was in cooperation with the Production Efficiency Department at the Ministry of Trade & Industry represented by Mr. Amr Gomaa, Head of the Productivity and Vocational Training Authority, as well as the Ministry of Higher Education, represented by Eng. Amal Shaaban, Head of the General Administration for Science and Environmental Relations in the Central Department of Media and Environmental Security.
Various activities happening at the vocational training center of the “Learn Right Paint Right” initiative, held in collaboration with Leaders Egyptian Association for Development (LEAD) and sponsored by MIDO and the Ministry of Trade & Industry, in its fourth session of 2021.

The special moment when the Regional Director of AkzoNobel MENA for Wood Paints hands over the symbol of cooperation to MIDO’s Managing Director Eng. Omar Ghali, establishing a mutually fruitful partnership between the two industry giants.
Although 2020 presented many challenges related to the global pandemic, it was a successful year full of achievements for MIDO as it honored its wide trader network with the best performance awards in 2020.
